Hey guys. Hope everything is good with all y'all. Been doing good in life, learning a lot and just played poker briefly, gonna put the graphs for the month in this post but I believe ive played 7k hands, not done so well either. This plan with playing on the bus etc obviously only becomes viable on the bus, been staying less in Madrid and more at home studying. Down quite a bit in these few hands but nothing I worry a lot about. Well except one thing. I redeposit a previous winnings from my "real life money" into my pokerbankroll which is EXTREMLY rare but I also made a nice system for me to keep very good track of this and let it not become a habit. As I mentioned last post I think, i do have a lot of value locked up in these vip-programmes at both party, stars.es and stars.eu and I just dont want to cash in points at a shitty rate.

Felt thou that I played pretty unfocused at times even thou I been running poor a few days. Could definetly have saved some cash.

New computer!
Also I bought this new computer. Its gonna be completely awesome, upgrading ram and put in a ssd today and its gonna be so freaking fast. This will determine if the HUD of HM2 is slow in itself (with the popups) or if I just need to go with HM1 from now. I am trying to get back into the methodology and thought patterns as I was when I was winnings nicely and one very important part is to detect strange preflop-patterns as people have. When someone raise utg I want to put up the popup to see what opening range they have but HM2 with all my computer so far has taken like 3-4 seconds to load the popup which is frustrating so I just look at the average pfr they have and make assumptions. Assumptions that is likely to frequently be wrong.
One great thing thou is that I have this amazing new life schedule which gives me a lot more free time than before. I might mentioned that b4 but like today AND yesterday I feel like I have more or less completed all my work which was more or less unheard of for last year. Gonna learn some new software now but hope to master that soon and put that extra time into poker, I really want to start earning decent money again.

Results continue to be tame, winning very few showdowns, down about 150 BBs or so for feb, 5k hands played. I am in this great mood however, I have snowed in on learning a few new things in school and spend every waking hour on this stuff. Tried to combine it with playing 1table today but felt that I was better off playing 3-4 tables without doing anything + fulltime on learning else rather then doing some sort of mix. I dont know about you but I constantly think about using my time effectively and sometimes it totally works 1tabling or so while doing other stuff (if you are "bumhunting" or playing stupid opponents) while sometimes it does not. This time the mix didnt work very well.

Soo I hope to learn these things quickly and perhaps turn february around and playing a bit more in a week or so. I am still on pace for supernova (17k VPPs) so ill just try to have this volume going and we will see from there. So according to timeanddate it has been 42 days this year. 17k vpps per 42 days. So in this tempo I will reach supernova after about 246 days of the 365. It obviously has a great buffer but the question is not whether or not I will reach it. Since the stars vip-programme is not that great and I always look for EV and the better vip-rebate is at supernova-level which means I will have to do wait than a half year in order to recieve any sort of cashback, this is the important part. For any FLSH-player (since the WR is so marginal in terms of BB/100) that would be a bit problematic and swingy since we rake such huge quantaties in comparison to any sort of winrate.

Ohh well, ill just make sure I dont belowpace and all will be solved soon. I should really try thou during the summer to get a high vipstatus on party and cash out the like 5k$ equivalent of point i already have gathered up during the years with more or less the same argument, it would be stupid to use these points at a lower vip-level. That cash would definetly come in handy now since the BR is at all time low again due to a low of uncashed vip-points.

I guess it all highlights how bad the vip-systems of the industries greats are but also how smart it is to make the system like that in comparison to the others which gives us frequent rakeback with higher amounts which in turn give freedom which is what most pokerplayers want anyways.. Well, no reason for moaning, just lets make the best of it and after all, all in all I would definetly say I unusually happy in life outside of poker ATM.

Tssup? Januari seemed to be great, turned out average after a dip but unfortunatly lost 750$ already in february after running like crap two-three days already. Lost 457$ at 2/4 tuesday which was completely insane, top 10 worst days ever badbeat-wise but feels fine to play so low, it doesnt really bother me all that much.

So all in all this year I am up 200 BBs after 21,5k hands. Nothing to impressive but I guess all positive is fine for a student.

Whatsup? Today I played 1k hands and lost unfortunatly. Down about 260 euro to retards. Played some halfweak players HU though which just is a variance rollercoaster which I mostly like to avoid. A friend visited another friend in the house and he came by a little. Usually I dont care much and played well in the beginning but I think I lost focus awhile, I should probably practice some saying to like promptly get someone to leave with insulting them. Because once I start to think of a way while playing, I lose focus, hahaha.

Pretty superaggro river4bet which I regret. Everything else is just fine given the dynamics and most other situations too.

Januari looks a bit grimmer but I mean, I am allright and nice to still see a "play-profit" as well as earning FPPs in well above supernova-pace. Had a real strong feeling for poker almost all month but now I would rate the urge as "average". 17,3k hands played and WR of 1,06 BB/100 as well as a very high WTSD 47,6% which makes the W$SD of 46,5% a bunch harder to evaluate. I am truly wondering if HM2 has a bug or so, for like 2m hands I have had wtsd of 39-42% every single month and I dont believe I have made much change. Or i dont know, doesnt care so much right now. Update

Today.

Been focusing on 2/4e only and been doing good generally, looks like the month is gonna be fine. Today have been eventfull, I first one a bunch, then won more and then lost it all very quickly. It seems I forgot some hands on the mobile so add another 200$ in loss there. Was about to end the session just and instead of lying +200-400euro all day, I dropped like 400 dollars in 100 hands which always is enjoyable. Its fine thou, i feel i played great all day and lost shitloads of hands on setups. Actually lost 300$ in total. Won 2 buyins in PLO thou but I actually did two suckouts in strange spots. Could try to post the hand but I 3bet pre with 9876 and I believe a guy donked out on the flop 976 and I shoved since I thought it would be unlikely that he would have very many T8xx out of position but that he did :D. Biinked a 9 on the river, mohahaha. Lucky in that sense.

Ohh well, still has a decent WR of 1,59 BB/100 over 16k hands for the month for FLSH and I have a lust for playing which is nice. Baby steps. Gonna continue playing 2/4€ as planned at 30k SEK for the year. Since there is no 3/6e so far at pokerstars.es then I think I will change the targets with 100k profit to play 5/10€ down quite a lot, 60k winnings should be fine and still very conservative. The biggest problem is the amount of tables more the swings actually. Would have no problem 4tabling 2/4€ for a long time but that rarely happens due to the traffic so on average I probably have like 2,3 tables going at once which doesnt equate a very high hourly wage. But I do love to play on the pokerstars-app while doing some other stuff so I guess I also have to factor that in heavily and somewhat forget the idea of an hourly wage. Btw, I am still shocked that pokerstars doesnt offer "send all hands played on mobile device".

Backlash!

Ouuch! Got a pretty heavy backlash today. Am continuing to play 2/4€ only but started out with some PLO today recording a video. I have the video uploaded but it was not that great, went all in 5 times within the first 50 hands and lost all and boom, i was down 5 buyins.

Then for the second session I just played FLSH and just ran like hell. Played 911 hands for the day and won 38,9% of showdowns which is at least top10 alltime low of all time and if you filter out more than 500 hands then it must be top 3.

With that in mind plus the fact that I think I played focused then I am totally OK with the loss. Lost 5350 SEK netto with RB, won 5950 kr the other day so you know, shit happens.

Tomorrow I believe I will recieve my first "reward" for winning at poker 2013, bought some awesome clocks and a bag from an awesome website (asos.com) which is nice. Even though money is money and pokerwinnings and cashing out should not in theory fluctuate depending on your short term results then I am still a fan on rewarding yourself now and then and it also motivates me a little more.

Btw, gonna increase my exercising schedule from 3x gym + 1x soccer per week to 6x gym + 2x football from now on and it feels great. Switched to the gym in campus which allows me some options like running to/from school, do short exercises on breaks as well as saving some time on transportation as well.

Might stop playing on the computer but try to play as much on the app as possible. Like lunch breaks, bussrides, extra slow lessons etc. We will see. Bye!

Whataaap!? With me it is great. Been playing on pokerstars.es this month on FLSH and been crushing it. Just passed 12k hands for the month, up 1540$ in play with a 3,15 BB/100 winrate which feels just awesome after a period of bad results. Rediscovered the pokerstars app and its simply just great, only problem is with the hand history + some features that would be nice. Find it a bit silly that you can only request 100 last hands, think they should really work a feature that would give us that wants all our data in like "request all hands from the pokerstars app". Anyways, been playing a bunch there and tried to request and import most of the hands but probably failed.

HM2 unfortunatly has started to lag a bunch, not sure if I made something with my computer or not, it feels in general a bit slower. It is a bit sad since I only have my memory and the colorcoding to rely on when it starts to lag, it is very possible that I switch back to HM1 since I always find the HUD a lot more responsive and less laggy but then obviously I have to reimport, add aliases and do all that shizzle which is not so fun. Its a pretty decent new computer btw (icore5 1,5 year old) but I do look forward towards when haswell comes in june. The plan is to most probably by the newest zenbook with haswell (depending on price and stuff of course) and that will bring me a new fresh computer. Have a strong urge to play some computergames btw, skyrim seems awesome.

Gonna continue to play but not sure about the volume. I have 3g on my phone and thus have the ability to play a little on the app (onetabling FLSH can be done without losing ability to talk etc :)) but we just started the semester and the speed is very likely to pick up very soon. We will see how it goes but right now it obviously feels great! So according to my limits I set b4 about stakes then it means that I have to stay awhile at 2/4€ still (up 15k sek for the year, set 2/4 until 30k) and I dont really mind at all. Too bad pokerstars.es have removed the 3/6€-tables so the next step is 5/10. Hopefully I will continue to have a nice winrate and continue to be content playing 2/4 and a bit of 1/2.
